Beautiful meal on my last night in Bergen. Stumbled on it (shamefully seeking pizza) and I’m so glad I did. Just lovely.

Nice place to get a drink or a really good meal off the beaten path in Bergen. Not a crowded as you'll find most places on the town centre. People who work there very friendly. If you're touring it's a very manageable walk. Highly recommended. Outdoor and indoor dining with a bar.

An excellent dining experience in Bergen, off the beaten path but walking distance to more touristic area..Creative tasting menu with locally sourced Norwegian ingredients. We opted for the 6 course menu but with extras it was actually 8. We didn’t do the wine pairing but our server selected a few different options throughout the meal that were perfect. The atmosphere is low key, comfortable and casual. It allows you to focus on the beautifully crafted food. From local farms and purveyors the offerings highlight the unique flavors and quality ingredients of the Norwegian coast. The food stands up against some of the Michelin restaurants we’ve experienced. Reservations highly recommended. We saw at least a dozen people turned away because they hadn’t booked in advance and the restaurant was full.

Marg & Bein is excellent! Every dish was a burst of flavors, perfect portion sizes, and very friendly customer service. I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in Bergen. Takk!

We dined at Marg & bein while visiting Bergen, such a beautiful well kept restaurant. I had the chicken liver pate, which was smooth and delicious, then the Ox cheek, omg it just melted in your mouth and broke away beautifully with your fork. The whole experience was perfect and I look forward to visiting again. Highly recommend.

Gastronomy delight. You discovered so much flavour and different taste in every plate. We have been in Norway a few days now and have not been looking forward to any meals because it’s just not good and expensive. But this saves Norway. Friendly staff. We asked about how some of the dishes were cooked. Do reserve ahead of time especially in summer. We have to come back later due to full house and we don’t have a reservation.

What a great experience we had at Marg & Bein. Food was fantastic, every dish we ordered was tasty and delicious. Must try the Ox Cheek and Pork Neck. It's a testament within itself when you're fighting for the food with whom you're dining with. Service was also spectacular. I'm glad we ate at this wonderful restaurant in our 24 hours of Bergen.
