Bacchus Vinhus

Bacchus is the result of a friendship 10 years in the making, a love of wine, good food and service. All the necessary ingredients for a cosy wine bar, a place to meet and be met, a place where memories are made and relationships formed: Bacchus Vinhus. The founders Kabir and Nicolas met in 2013 while studying hospitality management at Hotelschool The Hague in the Netherlands and never diverged from their industry of choice since. After learning around the world they decided to combine forces and open a place where they would love to be a guest themselves.

Amazing wine bar! Food and wine selection were fantastic and Kabir couldn’t have been more welcoming or knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Great little wine bar! Well curated wine list and even better themed wine by the glass menu which they change every 2 months. The food is second to none, the oysters are extremely fresh and they had a whole iberian jamon leg - which is not something you see in Norway every day. Such a great place in Bergen, it is very nice to have a great wine bar like this with good food (not touristic at all) close to historical center ! The owner always has good wines to match the food

Such a delicious and fresh lunch salad in a cosy little restaurant run by young entrepreneurs. Stumbled upon this place by coincidence and stepped in based on their advertisement board outside. I was very pleasantly surprised. Turned out today was the first day when they started serving lunch as well in addition to dinner.

Great wine bar in the centre of Bergen - good selection of wines and food to go with them! The staff was very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time, will definitely visit again when in the area.

Pretty nice place to try new wine. I love the concept of short menu that gets updates every 2 months. It means the team actually puts some effort in selecting wines instead of making 3 pages of wine where you just choose a random one that fits your budget. We are coming back. Nice place for a date or hangout with your friends.

A beautiful wine bar full of delicious food, chill vibe and amazing service. The dessert plate was incredible. A side bonus: the bathroom adds an adorable touch and really deserves a visit. Definitely will visit Bacchus again and again!
