Most beautiful waterside place in Bergen

When one has to line up in a queue to order food and prepay at the counter, it's kind of rude to ask for tip in my book. Especially when the queue is not very well organised or marked and one get a hint that there is a queue after 10 min waining at the counter. And requiring strict gluten free dishes, a moule frites where the frites share the same fryer as gluten containg items is not gluten free and should be marked as gluten containing in my opinion. And when the only gluten free option is a risotto which came too much al dente, very small portion, hardly cheesed up and with very few veggies added. Nay.....not tempted to go again. Even though eating on the terasse on superb summer weather was nice.

The pumpkin soup was absolutely amazing. Nice chill atmosphere, don't expect anything fabcy. There was no concert so it wasn't busy at all. Friendly staff. View of the water is amazing. Would definitely come back if it is possible to sit outside. More people dining alone than in groups.

I ordered a “chicken salad”. They brought it to me in 5 minutes (salad from the refrigerator). All leaves are wet and gave juice. Feeling that someone chewed it and put it on a plate

The mussels were simply great as well as the apple pie. The staff is friendly. Service is a bit slow but it was fine for holidays 😀 very quite compare to city center. Perfect for a stop during your visit to the lovely suburb

If you're looking for a really great setting to have drinks or food this is a great spot in bergen. Away from the big crowds and with an awesome view of the sunset, it's a really lovely atmosphere. The food is good, although nothing special, but that wasn't our main reason for coming

lovely venue, overlooking the harbour. good, friendly service. the fish soup was marvellous. small menu, but with even a veggie choice. it is a bit away from the usual tourist traps.
