Cafe Luna
Mainly a Coffee shop placeAbout Cafe Luna:
Quaint coffee shop with sidewalk tables, serving salads and sandwiches, plus vegan options.
I recently visited Luna Cafe and had a great experience. The atmosphere is cozy, perfect for a relaxed afternoon. The staff is friendly and attentive. The menu offers delicious dishes and tasty snacks, with the fresh pastries being a highlight. However, the coffee was a bit of a letdown. It was decent but not as good as I expected. Overall, Luna Cafe is a wonderful place to visit. Despite the coffee not being the best, I’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of their offerings!
Came in cause it was the closest cafe when I was dying of thirst and so happy to have stumbled upon it. The guy taking our order Saturday was friendly and helpful. We got the frozen hot chocolate with soy milk (extra points for having soy milk!) and a couple desserts and a banana for the baby. My partner hated his non vegan pastry, said it was too dry. But my vegan chocolate caramel crunch was very yummy! It was pretty big too so I just had half and finished the other half today. When ordering the frozen hot chocolate, if you want it to be vegan, be sure to change the milk and also say no whipped cream!! Would be even cooler if they had vegan whipped cream though!
Food is top-notch. Ambience to the point. Went for a Saturday brunch and tried the Rose Pistachio Latte along with the Caramel Pecan French Toast. Both were heavenly and filling. Def a must visit in the West Village. The food hits right on the spot.
Was a cute shop to walk in and get quick drink. It was a little busy and crowded to order. I got two chais with oat milk and honestly it was underwhelming especially for the price. Very light concentrate taste with a lot of cinnamon
Was very excited to try this Cafe however left underwhelmed. Be prepared for heavy wait time during peak hours, which would be understandable if the food and service was great, spoiler alert: it was meh. Food was decent but for the price it ended up being it felt a little too much (around $20-$25 per person). Prices weren’t labeled on the menu sheet so feel free to ask how much the prices are. I also got called buddy by the waiter like?? Very pretty in the inside though.
Outdoor dining season is here and I just discovered this quaint, cute spot just perfect for the season. Staff is super friendly and attentive and I could sit in their outside area and people watch all day! Cafe Luna is named after the owners daughter and the menu items have a space theme for that reason — it’s also a delicious menu and has something for everyone. Here were our favorite dishes: 🍳 Frittata of the Day 🥑 Lox Avocado Toast 🍔 AM Burger w/ egg and bacon 🥖 Zodiac Sandwich: Roast beef, cheddar cheese, crispy onions, chipotle aioli
Cafe Luna is a charming spot with an inviting atmosphere. Their coffee is amazing, and they offer a wide variety of breakfast options to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meal or something lighter, Cafe Luna has something to satisfy your cravings.
Amazing service, amazing food. I had the Zodiac sandwich and the cheddar and beef were top notch. There is less meat in the sandwich than the stock/business photo shows, but it's still a good sandwich. The white chocolate hot chocolate with nutella (customized for me, not a standard menu item) with oat milk was the best hot chocolate I've ever had. It wasn't watered down like most hot chocolates and had the perfect level of sweetness.
