Mainly a Cafe placeAbout Yafa Cafe:
Relaxed hangout serving up Yemeni pour-overs & plates for breakfast & lunch.
Chill vibe, fantastic new flavors, great fried chicken sando, fun Yemeni breakfast, stellar BEC. Cute presentation
The coffee here is so good!! The food here is so good! The staff is super super nice and the atmosphere is cute! I go here often and I recommend everyone to give them a shot. I would recommend maybe putting a little sign at the door or window stating there is more seating available in the back. For so long I’ve always walked by and wanted to go inside sit down & eat but all the tables were taken so I would never go inside. Finally one day I saw a table so I went in and had a peaceful breakfast but I noticed more seating in the back had I know that I would have been coming in to dine in, I’m sure I’m not the only person this has happened to. Overall the food is so tasty and not pricey at all! The latte is the best latte in the neighborhood
First time trying Yafa Cafe and it was amazing. I ordered a regular latte and a Matcha latte. I liked the how the matcha isn’t sweet and you can add your own choice of sweetener.
Only tried cappuccino which was about the average. It was not creamy enough. What I observed was that they were too busy that day so the barista rushed my coffee, didn’t make the foamed milk properly. They sent wrong drinks to guests before me, and I waited 15+ mins for my one cappuccino. About 2-3 groups of guests after me got their drinks and left earlier than me. I love the whole space and was thinking about trying their food next time tho.
Cute coffee shop in Sunset Park. I had the Tahini Chai latte iced and the chicken sandwich. Both were good. No complaints here. A lot of people there working on their computers. Nice space.
Yafa is a little gem of a coffee shop and well worth the visit if you’re near the area. It’s one of two or three of the best cafes in Brooklyn and I’d put it in my top 5 coffee in New York. They serve excellent food, have plenty of space and the staff are great. Coffee - 8.2: the bean selection for their blend is very good, rich flavour with very bitterness. They use a medium roasted Colombia & Costa Rica blend that has notes of chocolate & brown sugar. The notes were there but they could have come through more. It would have been nice if they’d have a fruitier blend but I know they’re just catering to a market. Temperature is spot on and the milk work is nearly perfect.
☕️Love visiting Yafa Cafe when we are in Sunset Park. My son, who lives there, says it's one of his favorite spots for coffee. The flavors of the coffee are beyond delicious. Food served here is just as tasty. We've tried a few things and enjoyed it all. The little teddy bear pastry is cute and yummy! 🐻 Can't wait to visit next we are in Sunset Park! 🌆
Wonderful experience with an intriguing atomosphere. Flavorful chicken added to the Tabbouleh salad was okay. Maybe I am biased because Tanoreen in Bay Ridge has a Tabbouleh salad like no other. Yafa had ample seating and great service. Food came out quick and many options on the menu .Try out the blue dream latte! It was a highlight.
