Einstein Bros. Bagels

12:54pm and they’re closed and won’t serve me. Google says they close at 3pm. The counter person says they close at 1pm. So I can’t get a coffee 6 minutes before closing? There’s enough complaints about this online. Why not update your hours so people don’t go out of their way for nothing.

Customer service is always top-notch. I still come back 7 years later since retiring. Rochelle is awesome

Current staff at this location do not seem to understand what the store hours are and seem like they just close when they feel like it. I wouldnt be airprised if they clock in a full 8 hours on their time sheets for the 3 hours they keep the location "operational"

The hours are SO limited and they’re inaccurate basically everywhere you can find them. They’re open so infrequently I’m not sure why they’re in a university union. Or at least why they can’t update their hours online to reflect store hours. Additionally staff are unpleasant and rude. Ignoring patrons and acting annoyed that someone has walked up to order. I made a complaint through Einstein's corporate in hopes that they can at least adjust the hours online to accurately reflect the current store hours, if that's the issue. I can't help but wonder if the staff just open late and close early because they want to and can get away with it.

Used to come to this place all the time for my morning coffee, but I had to stop because the employees who work there are so rude. They never say thank you, having a nice day, good morning, etc. They rush you through your order. It’s not a very pleasant experience to have especially in the morning. I go to TJ’s cafe now and they’re great over there.

I ordered a sandwich and after waiting awhile I realized that people who ordered after me were already getting their food. When I asked where my food was the employees ignored me and began arguing with each other about whose fault it was that my sandwich wasn’t being made yet. I had to watch them go back and forth arguing about this for several minutes before someone actually started making it. When I asked how long it would take, the employees either ignored me or couldn’t hear me over their own yelling to give me an answer. When I finally received it it wasn’t even that good. I’ll never order from here again.

Absolutely poor customer service. Was told after ordering a large coffee that spoons were only available for food orders, and they only have a set amount of plastic spoons to give out each day.... WHAT? The sign says "Utensils available with purchase", it does not specify a food order. Further, what quick service food brand limits their amount of plastic spoons? Sodexo and Einsteins make millions each year, so I wont buy it as a cost saving measure. That is pure greed. Honestly, none of this would of been an issue if the ladies behind the counter were not so rude to people all the time. As someone who came here for both undergrad and graduate school, its only gotten worse. Avoid.

They are incredibly stingy with the cream cheese. On multiple occasions now, the cream cheese doesn't reach the edge of the bagel. You have to lift apart the bagel slices to see any cream cheese, and it's just so pitiful looking.
