Mainly a Cafe placeAbout Cafe Ava:
"Great food and great service💙 My new spot for coffee and pastries"
"Lovely atmosphere, fun music, and polite staff (De La Rosa latte is delicious!)"
"The ambiance, the people, the owners, the location and just… everything is 💯!"
Awesome coffee and pastries! I usually encounter very friendly staff and great service. However I went this morning a few minutes after they had opened and the service from the cashier was rude and unacceptable. I had to wait until she was done texting on her phone before she could take my order, then there was not any type of greeting no good morning, just rudely asked “what can I get you” I proceeded to place my order and when she was finished with my coffee she just hands it to me without any exchange of words. Very nasty attitude not sure if she may not be a morning person or if customer service training should be necessary or if she is just not friendly, but this stands out A LOT because the rest of the staff is amazingly nice friendly and professional.
I love love love their coffee! It has that Hispanic coffee taste as well as the perfect amount of creaminess! Their desserts and food taste so fresh and such a wide variety! My new spot 🩷
Great energy! Friendly staffs! I’m addictive to the coquito latte delicious a must try. Andrea the owner is super nice and always helpful. Here at cafe Ava everything is made fresh. Amazing spot for coffee lovers! 🤍☕️
Love this place 🩷 Has definitely become my new coffee spot. The flan latte tastes just like the Starbucks Iced white mocha Venti with sweet cream foam and extra caramel drizzle drink !!!! But you get a lager size here. very impressed with this spot 100% recommend.
Cafe Ava is an absolute gem in Rhode Island, and my experience there was nothing short of phenomenal! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere immediately set the tone for a delightful visit. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly, treating me like a valued guest from start to finish. Now, let's talk about the culinary magic that happens at Cafe Ava. The Coquito Latte is an absolute game-changer; the perfect blend of rich espresso coffee and the delightful sweetness of Puerto Rican coconut eggnog, creating a flavor symphony that danced on my taste buds. The House Latte was equally impressive, boasting a velvety texture and robust coffee flavor that left me craving more, with a hint of their housemate cinnamon syrup, divine! And then there's the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Arepa—pure perfection! The arepa was flawlessly cooked, offering a delightful combination of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The bacon was crispy, the eggs were perfectly scrambled, and the cheese... oh, the cheese! It elevated the entire dish to a whole new level of deliciousness. Cafe Ava is a true culinary haven, where every sip and bite is a celebration of Latin flavor. If you find yourself in Rhode Island, do yourself a favor and make a beeline to Cafe Ava. Your taste buds will thank you!
Probably one of the best latte’s I’ve ever had from a coffee shop. Everyone inside was so friendly and helpful! Gorgeous decor. You can tell a lot of love went into creating this coffee shop. Will be back as often as I can!
I finally was able to get to this local coffee shop after following them on social media! The cafe overall was adorable and trendy. I came in for their holiday Coquito latte, which is probably the best thing I’ve drank in a VERY long time. I will be returning for this beverage and more in the future!
Great little cafe located in the newly revitalized “Rolfe Square” area of Cranston. The cafe though small, is very nice, and welcoming. The interior is nicely decorated , and the outside, in the summer will be a great spot to enjoy a espresso curbside. The menu isn’t big but what they offer, are the typical staple beverages that any cafe should serve. I had the “Dirty Chai” which was fantastic, and their “New Yorker” breakfast sandwich. I wish their were a few more menu options, but it’s not a deal breaker by any means. I look forward trying something new, on my next visit. If your looking to try something new other then Dunkin’ and Starbucks , come by here and check out Cafe Ava.
