Tropical Smoothie Cafe

I'm rating this a 3 because its actually the only tropical smoothie in the area that hasn't given me a garbage 80% filled, completely liquified smoothie lately, so that brings them to at least a 3 star... however they need to hire more people. The kids who work there are good and kind, and seem to be moving pretty non-stop but it's still not enough to keep up with the crowd, making the wait for a smoothie (as other stated) 45 mins+. Stop torturing these poor kids and hire more help. You've already started cutting back on expenses by shrinking the size of the cup (bottom is like 2 inch of hollow space) while increasing prices, the LEAST you could do is hire enough people to get the job done.

Yesterday I ordered from this location. My smoothie was not a smoothie it was basically a fruit bowl in a cup. It took forever to drink, which means it got warm, and I threw away about a third of the drink because it was just warm chunky fruit pieces. So nasty I've had wait time issues with going in person but this needs to be noted and fixed what is a smoothie if it isn't drinkable. It's literally in the damn name lmfao it's smooth--ie not chunk-ie. That is all. IRRELEVANT SN: Why are there 3 drinks that are essentially the same thing with one added ingredient starting with a basic strawberry banana.

I don't even know where to begin... well let's begin when you go to walk in, how disgusting the doors and windows are. Looks like they haven't been cleaned in 3 years. When you open up the door you get this wiff of smell that is musty and smells like garbage. The kids have really no clue what they are doing there. It looks like the oldest person working is 18. The entire place is dirty. Reminds me of the boardy barn and that's not a good thing. I can't imagine how clean the fruit, veggies, and blenders are. My kids love tropical smoothie but I can't go back there. We will be driving to another location. This is NOT IT!! Please renovate, restore, and use a mop that is clean!!!

waited 13 minutes for one smoothie for it to be lukewarm when I got it pretty sure they forgot to put the ice in it. Heard the girl training. The new girl said we’re not supposed to put water in it but since it’s watermelon, you can. $10 for a disgusting smoothie definitely will not be coming back. to make it worse, I was the only customer in there

My son waited 1:39 for his food today. Every time he asked for his food he was told it would come out shortly. When he said he couldn’t wait any longer they informed him his order was ready 40 minutes ago but no one had checked properly! Thank you very much, he has a 45 minute lunch brake and was written up for being late! I guess being kind to the staff and nit wanting to leave so he wouldn’t look rude didn’t serve him very well.

We usually come here often, after workouts we come to get a smoothie and a healthy wrap or flatbread. Everytime we go it seems like something is wrong, the staff is short or they are goofing around while busy. It’s usually like a 15 min wait for your smoothie and your food. Today was just terrible. The floors were disgusting, the tables weren’t cleaned and guests had to clean off their own tables. It wasn’t a few crumbs, it was trash from people not throwing it away. We waited 30 minutes and the people that ordered way past us got their food and smoothies before us. We went up and they finally handed us our smoothies. But they weren’t blended right, it had clumps of ice and fruit not all the way blended. I can barely drink it, I bit into a chunk of either fat burner or vitamin B12 I added to the smoothie and it tasted like I took a bite out of some strong medicine mixed with some hot sauce. Our food comes out 40 minutes later. It’s a wrap and a club… it’s not even busy. 40 minutes for my meal and drinks that aren’t even drinkable. On top of that the banana they gave us was beat to hell and back. So bruised we had to chop off half of the banana to eat it. The energy bar is where I’ll be going from now on. They are healthier with fresh products. They make sure they are doing everything right, in a respectable amount of time too. Our family won’t be going here anymore.

They need to hire more people to work during the peak hours. I can easily wait 30 minutes for a smoothie that takes 5 minutes to make. If there’s a line then you can expect to add more time. There’s always only one guy on register and he’s running into the back to make smoothies too. And the smell at this location has turned me away more than once. I’m done.

If I could give a zero rating I would. I went here this past Monday ordered a smoothie on my app at 11:49am. At 12:18 when my smoothie was still not done I went to the counter and was told it was still going to be a while because new people were working. I left disgusted. I had to bring my sister to her cancer treatment which was the reason for getting the smoothie. I then have emailed the store THREE times to get my money and have gotten no response. This is not a way to run a business. I have been to plenty of other tropical smoothies where i was given excellent service, however it seemed based on the reviews this is not uncommon for this location. Absolutely horrible.
