Cafe Prince

Tried this place on a whim when I went to the bagel shop next door. I got a latte with vanilla syrup. I asked for it to be sweet, it wasn’t which was whatever. I probably wouldn’t even go back. The vibes weren’t welcoming, the menu wasn’t all that.

I stopped in 5 minutes before closing after a bike ride and the young lady working still offered to make me a quick drink. It was very good so I decided to go back with my son so we could get the full experience. I have to say it was one of the best cafes I've been to. Very friendly staff ( the same young lady) and amazing food & drinks. Highly recommended.

Cafe Prince is a really cool spot tucked away next to a beautiful little courtyard. The interior serves up modern design vibes with concrete walls, glass blocks and colourful murals/art/tables. The Maple Shakerato was so smooth and delicious and I really enjoyed my ricotta toast with chunks of mango and a dusting of sumac.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! The coffee here is unparalleled, with each cup brewed to perfection and offering a rich, robust flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, ideal for both relaxation and focused work, with comfortable seating and plenty of natural light. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch that makes you feel right at home. With a diverse and exciting menu of unique drinks and food, this place is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic cup of coffee or get some serious work done.

Love this place, super high quality ingredients and simply delicious food. Staff is always super friendly and the courtyard is epic.

I went here on a Sunday afternoon after breakfast at Detroit Institute of Bagels. I ordered a latte with mocha, and this isn’t something they offer on the menu. The barista said “I can make that” and went ahead with my order. It was $5.00 for this little cup… and the mocha tasted OK. It wasn’t terrible, but not the best I’ve ever had. I have to consider that it’s not a menu item and he was kind to make it for me.. 4/5, I won’t be coming back.

Absolute Gem. Vibe, design, and people are incredible and to top it off the coffee is great, ingredients are always top notch and you can tell the staff really care about providing an excellent experience. Pizzas are a real treat in Wednesdays and I have never seen another offering in Detroit that compares to the irreverent lunch at this price point, tastes as great as it is visually striking. One of Detroits best cafes and the courtyard is an amazing secret as well.

Passed by while in Detroit and really loved the cafe! The food is so fresh and good, and they prepare it right in front of you & use really fresh ingredients. Doesn’t get any better! The staff was so nice, I hung out and did some work while I had my food. They’re bringing a good vibe to the neighborhood. Love the coffee, nude carrot & of course the pizza when it’s available. Everything on the menu is amazing! Highly recommend.
