Very relaxing place, great food with a varied menu and excellent staff.

We came across this cafe by chance, while strolling from a theater play in The National Stage to our hotel. Service is relaxed and friendly, very Norwegian like. In fact, the entire place is relaxed and friendly, we felt so welcomed. Food is not Michelin level, but neither are the prices. But everything we had was honest and tasty, especially their fish chowder. We liked it so much that we headed back the next day, for some more of their comfort food and atmosphere.

Amazing Place. The Cod was outstanding! We had a little miscommunication issue on my behalf and I ordered a shrimp plate that I was allergic to, but immediately was taken care and offered options. The service was friendly the second we walked in. We felt very welcomed. Great Spot! Definitely worth a try!! If I am ever back in Bergen this will be my first place. Great Job!

Solid, homely fare from this café. My cod and duchess potatoes had a slight whiff of 1970s school dinner about it, but not in a terrible way. They messed up my dining companion's order, but made good.

Our food here was delicious, and the staff was very kind! We were traveling to Bergen and were able to try some classic foods like fish soup.

September 2023 Viewed the Google on this place. And later viewed it in the afternoon during our walk about. We had dinner here. The seats are almost full. We had Fish Soup and 2 different salads. 1 off the salad with Reindeer meat. The meat was Gamey for me. The salad was awesome. The Fish Soup, was too creamy for me. Fish flavour with chunck of salmon and cod fish. Service was marvellous. The atmosphere is great.
