Some of the best Italian food in Norway from restaurant owners directly from Italy. Pasta and sauces outstanding. Small, need reservations but if you can get in, go and enjoy.

This isn't a restaurant to begin with, italian even less. Came with high expectations given the reviews, blown away. Literally worst pizza and pasta ever eaten. Won't mention the prices compared to France or Italy but that's the way Norway is i guess. Avoid, really doesn't worth it.

I recently dined at De Stefano in Bergen and was thoroughly disappointed. The pizza dough was still wet, indicating it didn’t stay in the oven long enough. Considering they use electric ovens, this is unacceptable. The toppings on the Tyrranosaurus Pizza were very basic, resembling pepperoni and ham from the local supermarket. For dessert, I ordered a tiramisu for almost 200 NOK. What I received was a small glass that was very disappointing for the price. Instead of the expected mascarpone, it was just whipped cream, and the ladyfingers were soggy from being soaked in espresso for too long. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, especially given the premium prices they charge. I would not recommend De Stefano to anyone looking for a quality meal.

The service was rude. You have to make a reservation! There were a lot of free tables inside but they did not seat us there, not even for 20 minutes. We had to sit outside with the comment „we do not serve you when it rains“. Also The service charged us up front! They did not serve water in a glass flask just a tiny glass. All in all a super unfriendly expierence. It looked very nice inside, the food was OKAY. Bit small portion and tasted like out of the mikrowave.

Very nice Italian restaurant! We had a very good pizza and next day homemade papardeles! Very helpful and smiling staff. You need a reservation!

Lovely cosy Italian. Great service and friendly staff. Amazing pizza. Would recommend booking. The best pizza in Bergen. Che buono!
