SKYSKRAPEREN RESTAURANT

Food was good. The "best of" date of my orange juice was expired and got a new one. But not without the comment from the waiter that you can drink it even a year later without getting sick. You don't say? But when I'm paying for a drink I want a not expired one.

Beautiful view. Food was delicious. It’s a fixed menu so that can be a challenge for some. Really worth the trip and money or even just go to the cafe for the view.

I’ve hiked for three hours. Here is a great refreshing point after a nice hike! I had the fish soup, it tastes amazing! Very recommended!

The only negative here is the price. It's quite the premium cost for anything here, 6 euros for a coke, 5 for a bolle, 7 for a latte.... It's quite something. However the quality is first class so I guess you get what you pay for. Make sure you go on a sunny day or the view is wasted :p

It was pouring rain when we reached the top of Ulriken - impossible to stand outside and take pictures of Bergen below even with rain gear! Thank goodness we had a lunch reservation booked together with the gondola ride up through Fjord Tours. Other people without reservations were told they had to leave the restaurant. We got a beautiful table by the window, where we could enjoy the view without getting wet. The manager provided excellent service - he explained our beer tastings and the delicious local food, and allowed us to stay as long as we wanted. (I especially loved the fish stew and the “deconstructed cheesecake” dessert!) Eventually the rain stopped and we went out for all the photos we wanted. All in all it was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend it. I only wish I could remember the manager’s name. He was very busy dealing with the guests and non-guests, but he was so professional and personable, and his English was perfect!!

Best place u should visit once while u r travel. Fine diner and lunch also reasonable price +flavors. Best view for Bergen postcard looking. Cable was not cheap but u can take 1333 step go instead of. Make sure u have 3-4 hours there doing nothing just sit.

This was an amazing date night for my partner and I while we were in Bergen. The five course tasting menu was amazing for testing local foods. The kitchen was very accommodating for our nut, shellfish, and dairy allergies. The wine package was also definitely worth it. The staff were so nice. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling.
