Cool retro café with tasty open faced sandwiches and a great wine selection. In a very cute, quiet part of town.
Lovely atmosphere! Great drinks, but unfortunately they charge extra for plant milk, which is pretty unnecessary these days. They have a lovely plant-based open sandwich, but that's pretty much the only option according to my knowledge.
10/10 decor and vibe. Great coffee place that does great wines and beer. Prices are good for noway <90NOK for a beer. Would come back to Bergen just for this bar
We spent few days in Bergen and had wonderful times there. Staff is super friendly, beers are great and kids can play (soccer ) in the street (only resident's vehicles?). Perfect terrace to make the most of the last sun rays!
We just had a tea because it was rainy outside but the cafe was so cozy and calm and the service very friendly! (+ amazing music playing) We were also happy that it was open until 8. If you want milk or honey in your tea you don’t need to pay extra! Also really pretty hood where the cafe is located. We recommend!!!🌺
A great place for lunch! Definitely a student hangout but also for us “older” graduated students too! Friendly service and excellent food.
One of the best cafés in Bergen. It has a warm and eclectic vibe, and has been around since 2009. Serves mostly cakes, buns, and open faced sandwiches. Unlike many chain cafés where the sandwiches are often dry and tasteless (and with extortionate prices), Nobel Bopel puts a lot more care into their food. The bread and buns are freshly made. It’s wholesome, tasty and the portions are quite generous. It is located in the university area which is a great place for tourists to stroll around (lots of colourful houses, interesting architecture). If you’re looking for “typical Scandi food” without wanting to pay restaurant prices, this is a fantastic value for your money. They also have a section for home wares and misc items.
The cafe is so peaceful, and simply beautiful. The brunch menu is surprisingly sufficient unlike many places in Norway. We had brownie, cappuccino, cortado and the shared brunch platter. The brownie was fine. The coffees were good; I also loved the cups. The shared brunch was both delicious and very satisfying with cheese, fruits, hummus and else. The bread served was also very fresh and delicious. All in all, it was a good experience.
