Once the restaurant got over all it's starting issues I was finally able to get a table. The servers were super welcoming and the food is above what I could have imagined. Truly a great experience!
Came here on a whim and there happened to be a table available. Staff were very friendly. We asked the waiter for a wine recommendation and it was a very good wine choice. We ordered steak and chips. Food was cooked nicely. Also asked for dessert recommendation and we got chocolate nemesis. It's essentially a brownie but it was very good. The background music was great, really chill. Can't rate the staff highly enough. Will come here again and would recommend to others.
They served excellent cabbage. And this comes from a meat eater. It was a nice place for a corporate dinner since we got a separate room.
Nice place and very good starter. The main course however, was disappointing. The meat was difficult to cut and full of tendons. When the staff was made aware of this, the respons was "we were unlucky with the selection of meat" and "sorry, but the dessert is on the house". Perhaps it's naive to think the kitchen would check the food before they send it to the table. Also sendt a feedback to the restaurant a few days after the visit, but no reply on email or Facebook. They probably have enough guest to not care about my opinion, or perhaps I was just unlucky with who read the messages. All in all, a very underwhelming experience for the price. Would go somewhere else.
Clearly not a place targeting tourists. No English menu, not in the touristic city center. Even the menu is rather simple and limited... But the food... OMG! One of the best things I have eaten in a while! From snacks to vegetables, and finally to the meat - simply wonderful!
Loved this restaurant. The vibe is welcoming, the food is so beautifully made and tastes amazing and the staff so nice. 👌🏼A wonderful experience.
Cozy dim place (refurbished industrial building) with dishes that are between the level of a regular restaurant and star dining. First we had to wait quite a while before service came to our table, but this was completely made up for with free dessert from Henrik. The kitchen is open and showed flexibility in terms of special requests. I’d give the fifth star for more vegetarian / vegan options.
Amazing place. I don’t know Norwegian so I tried a blind order and the food (duck leg and cabbage) was top level. The waiter was super nice and friendly, I’ll go there again and try the pork rib as he suggested!
