Tasty sandwiches and sweet treats, great coffee and stunning views from the terrace. Perfect for a sunny day!

I am writing this because the shop asks everyone to write. The personnel here are cold, slow and rude. They just don't want to deal with their customers. There was almost a long line, and only one person was taking orders. We waited and waited, meaninglessly. We had two gift cards. They apparently have this stupid rule of using only one gift card at a time, which the personnel did at first not bother to explain clearly: they preferred to say our gift cards were "empty". If you don't want to work or be nice to people, please go find another job. You just don't have the right to ruin our Sunday with your cold and unfriendly attitude.

We particularly enjoyed the view from the terrace of the cafe. It was gorgeous along with the chill atmosphere (at least during summwr without university students). The coffee and the pastry were average though. We payed about 250 NOK for 2 coffees + 2 pieces of pastry.

Godt Brod is quite a well-known chain in Norway, but it’s been cited to be the best place for Norwegian kanelboller (cinnamon buns). We grabbed one, a cup of tea each and wandered up the hill to sit outside a stunning church and watch the world go by.

Nice place to sit around. We had a sandwich, focaccia toast and flat white. We didn’t like the coffee.

Beautiful surrounding park and very spacious coffee shop with usual bakery treats and bread & muesli options to take home. Very friendly service. Arrived for breakfast and the full range of sandwiches not yet available so I will come back to sample more.

Bakery and coffee shop located inside a beautiful university of Bergen large and comfortable open space with great choice of drinks and gluten free products. Nicely friendly atmosphere with juvenile crowd of locales and tourist good selection of freshly prepared cakes and taste coffee. Professional staff English speaking. Competitive price and excellent products. The building is surrounded by beautiful well kept garden and not far from the botanical garden with free entry
